Hi
I have a MinimOSD (original 3DR) running OSD Version 2.0 connected to a Pixhawk, running Arducopter 3.1.3
I get a video link - but no overlay from the OSD.
The OSD is powered from both sides (Pixhawk and Camera).
I have tested the OSD to work fine on another airframe - the only difference (as far as I can see it) is that it is a Pixhawk running the Arducopter Version before 3.1.3
I have even swapped all cables + camera between the two airframes, to make sure that it is not due to some mistake in the wiring.
Bottom line is: The OSD works fine an all my airframes - but doesn't display any overlay on my new airframe (the one with a Pixhawk and 3.1.3).
I am happy about any suggestions ...

I found the issue - it is the camera - or rather the wire to the camera.
I am using a Sony FPV camera (the one sold by 3DR) and have used it on various airframes before.
Only on this airframe I used a servo extension cable to extend the connection between camera and OSD.
Apparently it leads to some loss on the way (it's a 30 cm servo extension wire), using more electricity than the OSD can provide, which leads to the OSD powering down.
If I plug out the camera the OSD overlay appears - if I plug it in only the picture of the camera is visible - but no OSD overlay.
If I don't use the servo extension cable I can see both, picture and overlay - if I use the servo cable the error occurs.
Didn't think this would be possible - I am using a (fully charged) 3s Lipo for the video system ...
Have you checked the SR parameters of the telemetry port, maybe they are at zero and thus you do not get any values.
Are you connecting on telem1 or telem 2?
