Problem with servo gimbal setup

Hi, I installed a servo gimbal on my quadcopter yesterday. I successfuly maked it work with stabilization but now, I have 2 problems:

- How to subtrim servos ? Because of the notches of the servo horn, I cannot get the camera straight. In the mission planner, there is 'Neutral angles' but they do nothing.

- Second, as soon as I select an input channel for tilt, the servo goes crazy, it becomes erratic with random jerk movement. My ch6 is assigned to nothing. I also tried with another output channel (switched RC10 and RC11), same thing. Tried with ch7 and ch8, same thing. But, when I move the button on my transmitter, it does something, mixed with the jerk movement... I don't know what to do.

Thanks.

  • I solved both of my problems.

For subtrim, it's servo limits. You have to increase/decrease both limits up or down. If you increase only one, it works, but you stretch the servo travel, and only one side,

For the servo glitch, I re-calibrated my transmitter and that fixed the problem.

I found these solutions on older threads of diydrone.

    • Thanks for following up with the solution, Francois.
