Problem with wifi Xbee

Hi,
I bought a ARDUPILOT 1.X long time ago and now I buy new APM 2.5. I reuse wifi parts of ARDUPILO 1.X in particular xbee in plane. In that moment this part must make yourself from parts.
Well, when I connect this old part to the APM2.5 dosen't work . Are there some reason?. Apparently is the same board.

    Also, the older XBee adapter board from SparkFun or ones of similar design to not work. Use the new on from SparkFun or the XtreameBee that do proper level shifting and are compatible with 3.3V signal levels.

    Hi, what do you connect it to?

    If it is the "telemetry" port, are you aware that port will be dead while USB is plugged? The UART0 port on the CPU switched between telemetry port and USB, only one at a time will work...Remember to set the baud rate right too. Just set both of SERIAL0_BAUD and SERIAL3_BAUD to whatever your bee expects.
