When i plug in the FTDI cable it doesnt show in the com slots on device manager. It shows in other devices. I dowload the FTDi drivers and dont kno what the problem is. Can someone help??

It's not enough to install the drivers-Windows is plug and play so when you plug in the device, you have to tell it where the driver is.
You need to give us a little more info:
What version of Windows?
32 or 64 bit?
