As a newbie who needs to do lots more reading; but I had a question on where I should be focussing and I'd be grateful for advice.
I'd like to programme a plane to be able to loiter say in circles around a point. Also I'd like to be able to get multiple planes to do this i.e. more than one loitering about the same point and perhaps even control them using internal compasses so that they are in the "right" place e.g. at opposite sides of the circle.
Of course I'm expecting to need to do programming for what i want to do - but at this point can you give me any pointers about which autopilot software and hardware platforms are the best candidates for this (maybe the ideal one would have features kindof like this but also have good clear interfaces for programming).
