I bought the DYI Drones XY and Z Senors and the 1' shrink tubing, but before I try to use the shrink tubing do you have any suggestions about how the shrink should be applied to the Sensor boards?

Common guys, hasn't anyone applied the the one inch diameter clear shrink tubing to the DYI Drones XY and Z sensors and have a picture of how it was applied? I hate reinventing the wheel!
I put the shrink tubing around both boards (I had multiple sizes of shrink tubing so I had a smaller diameter piece on the Z sensor) and then I put the set on a piece of cardboard. I then placed the cardboard tray in the oven at around 200 degrees for maybe 50 seconds? I was definitely not going to risk the sensors with my usual method of shrink wrapping; using a flame from a kitchen fire torch lighter thing.
