Hi,
I'm setting up an APM heli using a PX4 + IO, but I couldn't find any info of wiring. My setup is a 120 swashplate with a separate direct drive variable pitch tail, which means I have a normal tail servo with an extra motor at the tail to control.
Does anyone know about how I should connect all the servo's and motors?
Thanks!

Hi, it would probably be best to have this discussion in the helicopter forum to help me keep track of it. But I'll try to answer here.
The servo connections would be similar to those of an APM. 1-3 for the swashplate, 4 for the tail servo. 8 for the main ESC. Now, the trick you have is going to be that extra tail motor. I have created code for this and it is working, but this code is not yet released. The tail ESC would plug into Ch7. You control both the main and tail ESC's with Ch8 input.
I haven't flown a PX4 on a helicopter at all yet. So there's a bit of risk there if you undertake this. What kind of a machine is this?
