Hello fellow drone enthusiasts!
This is my first time on this forum and building a quadcopter. I've spent a lot of time researching the science behind flying and building one. I believe I got most of the concepts down and I'm ready to begin work on constructing one. However, I have a few doubts that I'm hoping to get some clarity on.
Here are the list of components that I believe are sufficient to build a quadcopter.
- q450 PCB frame
- 930kV BLDC outrunner motors x4
- 30A ESC
- 2200mah 25C LiPo Battery
- 10*4.5 Propellers
- CC3D flight controller
- 8 channel RC transmitter
Now, here are my concerns.
1) Do I need a power distribution board or is it incorporated in the CC3D?
2) For the given motor specs, is a 30A ESC enough or should I get a 40A ESC?
3) For a 450mm quad, is it better to use the CC3D or the KK2.1.5? And if I had to use the KK2.1.5, do I need a PDB?
4) How do I establish communication between the transmitter and the flight controller? Any links are appreciated.
5) Do I need a separate BEC or is it included in every ESC?
Any insights, advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you :)
