  • A buddy of mine has a dragon fly and he busted some props.  Could only buy new ones from dragon.  He hooked up with a carbon fibre fab guy in town and is making his own for 1/4 the price.  Balanced and built with a slightly different carbon kevlar material as opposed to carbon fiber.  Stronger and will flex a little bit on an impact.  The pitch is the key on the dragon prop.  pretty good lift on those. I believe they lasered the dimensions, cnc'd a mold.  From what I could tell, wasn't much to the prop other than the shape factor, which is easily determined from a laser audit. Maybe they should sell aftermarket for half price...

  • Or with carbon Graupners like we discussed previously.
  • You can go with:
APC 10 x 4.7 Slow Flyer Pusher Propeller (APC10047SFP) for clockwise
APC 10x4.7 Slow Flyer Propeller (APC10047SF) for counterclockwise
Of course depends on your motor and ESC.
    www.amainhobbies.com has them in stock.

  • There is only 1 manufacturer of counter rotating props for mikrokopters & that's maxxprod.com. Their products are now resold through amazon.com fortunately. Draganfly, microdrones, & Parat make their own props & sell the small ones exclusively in their own stores. The large ones on the microdrone md4-1000 & the draganfly X6 probably can't be bought without a contract since the props are after all the key to making quad rotors.
  • They both use proprietary propellers. You'll probably be able to buy spare Parrot AR props once it's released. I'm not sure about the DraganFly ones though, looks like they sell stuff to registered owners only.
