I did see posts where people claim they can fly their quad copter 20-25 min, others just 7-8 min.
Which is the real flight time?
On my quad with setup below I have 7-8 min (alarm at 10v) . Can I fly more?
APM2.0 + telem
Quad H-Frame, 4 motors
Motor 1000kv (HK:D2830-11 1000kv)
Prop 10x6 (initially I did try 9x5)
Lipo: 1 x 3S, 2200MAh, 20C
Total weight with one single Lipo + GoPro + FPV gear: 1.3kg
Should I expect more time to fly? If yes, where should I gain? Different motor, prop, Lipo?
When I try 2 parallels LiPo (same internal resistance) (3S, 2200MAh, add 170g more), time was not real doubled. Is that normal?
I am using the eCalc and it give me almost the same time.

I'll answer your last question - yes this is normal. Adding a battery in parallel increases the weight which increases the lift required, so the motors will burn more fuel to lift the additional weight of the additional battery.
Remember, the Apollo spacecraft were 99% fuel and 1% payload.
