QuadCopter spinning

Hi Guys

 

I build one of the standard copters kits today again, everytime i start up the Copter and arm the motors and start increasing speed the whole copter starts rotating clockwise really really fast , I can counter act the effect with the stick but it doesnt help if I just want to hover or lift off.

 

Any idea's?

  • I have the same issue when loading code from the MP and doing the initial setup.

    First I would suggest to reset through CLI and load the code with arduino. Then do the CLI setup and skip the MP setup.

    This worked for me and am now flying 2.0.20

  • Also check what way your compass module is installed. Should be components down/pins forward by default.
  • Check all propellers rotation direction and that cw/ccw propellers are in the right place.

    Also check calibration of ESC's. The problem may be a ESC is spinning a engine faster/slower than the others.

    Check that GPS hold/loiter is off.
