Quadcopter Unstable

I'm building my own quad with these parts:

LiPo 3S 5A 25C
Hobbywing Quattro 25A*4 ESC
KK 2.0 board (1.2 firmware)
RCtimer brushless motor 880KV
SlowFly 10*4.5 props
Turnigy 9X for the radio transmitter

So far it still unable to fly normally. By not normal, when i applied throttle just enough to lift the quad a little bit, it already started to pitch forward.

I've already tried ESC calibration from KK board, ESC calibration from throttle hub accessory, sensor calibration and stuffs but it still cannot fly normally.

Is there any setting that i missed?

  • Try getting your CG ( center of gravity right) place battery, board in such a  place that the weight is balanced on all 4 sides rather than just at one point.
    Next step Calibration.
after all this if it still goes forward
then check for trimmers on your controller if it needs to be trimmed.  :)

  • Check your motor connections making sure you have them wired in the proper orientation if not it will flip every time you try and take off
