Question about verify height in Mission Planner

I am a bit confused on how Mission Planner deals with the verify height option. If I generate my waypoints via Survey (Grid) then check verify height, all of my waypoint altitude values are unchanged. However if verify height is checked before I generate the waypoints, each waypoint alt value is different (higher or lower relative to the initial height I set). So my question is when I write these values to the copter in the first scenario I just described  (i.e. generating waypoints then checking verify height) do the alt values get changed to those reflected in the second scenario I described?

  • Verify Alt is a Mission Planner function and what you see is what you get. The altudes won't get adjusted later.
    • Thanks. This almost seems like a bug in MP
