I have a issus I can not get my head wrapped arround. I have done over 400 flights with the ardupilot in control. I have perfected autotakeoff and landing, and everything else for that matter. Everthing had been working flawlessly for months. I have so much confidence with the system: I have even done some long flights, while chasing it in a car. I never let it get out of my visual range, incase something was to go wrong, I could take over and land it. (thanks to my buddies convertable car!) FYI all these flights were done in very low populated areas, at a 100-150 foot altitude. If I only had this system when we use to do crosscountry flights at the club for competition!!! HAHa
Here is the problem.....
In the last two days I have encountered a very weird problem. While in auto mode flying a mission. It will randomly fly back to home, after hitting the home waypiont, it will fly back to where it deviated from in the mission, and complete the mission.
Is it loosing zigby connection, and returning to home as a failsafe? or is it loosing 2.4 signal from my radio and coming home as a fail safe? I would love to get a better understading of what is actually causing this.
If it is loosing the zigby. What should I change to to get a better connection to the groundstation.
Thanks for any help with this.

If it were losing your TX link, then it would appear to be a TX-initiated mode change, wouldn't it? And if so, would we see that in the logs? Perhaps we can start by looking at what is in the logs, yes?
