As a school project we are building an autonomous drone that can perform certain tasks. We decided to use the Navio2 board as our flight controller and since for this project we are only going to be dealing with distances up to a max of 20 feet we figured we could use the built in bluetooth as our telemetry to send data back and forth between the base station and the drone.
I guess the first question is if this is a good idea to use bluetooth as our main telemetry? Or should be buy a proper telemetry kit? The next question is we are pretty sure the bluetooth is disabled when using the Navio2 shield on the Raspberry pi3, does anyone know how to reactivate it?
