Finally got a replacement RC receiver and now I can't get it to work still :( It's only a cheap set of Hobbyking ones HK-T6A V2 for now, until I get the thing to fly.
The problem is when trying to calibrate it the bars just seem to jump around randomly even if the transmitter is nowhere near me. I've tried all the steps I can see and can't seem to fix it :(
What I've tried:
- Re-binded the pair several times
- Powered from LiPo (through the APM receiver power lines) AND a different 5V source
- Ran a calibration on "Digital Radio" software
The issue is not present when connecting the transmitter directly to computer (using "Digital Radio" software) and everything works as expected. It also works fine when connecting an ESC directly to the throttle channel of the receiver which makes me think it's a problem with the APM setup.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! After nearly 2 years of putting it off I'm so close!
Thanks in advance!

Really hate to be one of those people who just post "Fixed this now" but I have no idea what solved it it just suddenly works! :P
Hi Conner,
First question, if you plug servos, and a battery into only the receiver, do they behave properly ?
You NEED to know that that your TX/RX link works properly, before proceeding.
I myself still use APM1, with the 2560 computer board, on two 'planes and one quad, rugged system it is.
With the latest code.
There is a possibility that you might have a faulty APM, but I've learned the hard, and sometimes embarrassing way, that I didn't properly read the manual, or followed instructions!
But then, this is what this community is about, so ask, post pictures, just go for it!
