Is the mapping between the lean angles (roll & pitch) and RC channels 1 and 2 linear?

As explained in the Stabilize Mode documentation, lean angles change between ANGLE_MAX and ANGLE_MIN based on the RC inputs from the pilot. This, in Control Theory jargon, would mean that the RC channels provide the setpoint for roll & pitch. Now my question is whether the value of this setpoint changes linearly and uniformly with the value of the RC channel?
