At the risk of sounding ignorant . in the case of servo connections on the rc receivers.are the seperate connection only designated for specific servo control and throttle control.ie(rudder,elevator.throttle) are these specific channels or does this matter.with not knowing directly ive never experimented with switching them out

They are assigned to the specific sticks on the transmitter. You can connect them to any control surface, but most people learn to fly with the standard assignments of elevator and ailerons on the right stick, etc....
