Hi All,

This is the second TURNIGY TX9 transmitter that I have got into problems!

I am using Turnigy TX9 Transmitter (Mode 1) /8CH Receiver from hobbyking (standard most people get).

- I changed Mode 1 to Mode 2 by swapping pitch and throttle stick springs internally. TX works!

- I put the RF 9 (V2) module from another Turnigy TX9 with antenna (did the coax soldering).

Coming to the problem:

1) When I move the sticks of the Txm, for all channels, I can see a minimum of 900 as PWM and ~1600 as the maximum as PWM [See red bars in the mission planner Radio calibration screen]. WTF?

I want minimum PWM as 900 and max as 2100. How do I get that?? I checked the Endpoints via Menu->Settings, all say they are 100%.

2) I checked the PPM signal (set of 8 PWM's) coming directly to the Transmitter module pins (back of TX9 connecting the RF module) with an Oscilloscope. I see the minumum PWM I get is 700uS and maximum I get is 1500uS. (uS for microseconds). The APM code (I checked allows for a minimum range of 900 as PWM and MAX as 2100, above and below which it clips). See 900 (clipped) value that is seen below the red bar.

I want to get this right, the range of 900 : 2100. Some TX9 Transmitter programming is needed. Can someone please help?

  • Hi Richard,
Even after setting the endpoints to 120% the range of pwm is stick highly limited (max 1500).
And this happens for all channels btw.
The stick position is all up.
    Thanks.
  • you can adjust the end points in the settings section of the transmitter up to 120
