Hello,I'm trying to make the RQ-1 Predator B UAV model built by NitroPlanes into a UAV. I purchased the ArduPilot Mega but I have a question on the receiver I should purchase. I will be using 5 servos on the airplane (2 for the v-tail, 2 for the ailerons, and 1 for a modified steerable nose landing gear). These 5 servos plus the throttle add up to 6 channels. I was about to purchase the AR6210 receiver by Spektrum which has 6 channels, but then I read that the receiver must have an extra channel for the ArduPilot. Can someone please clarify how many channels I must have in my reciever. Thanks,Luis Andrade

Yes, you need a channel for switching modes, if you want to do that.
