A satellite receiver is basically just an extra antenna for your main receiver. It gives you the ability to mount another antenna in a better location seperate from the main receiver which gives you diversity or multi-point RF capability.
It gives you a degree of RF redundancy if that is what you are asking? Or are you asking about battery redundancy?
I think that’s something that only JR radios have so maybe the JR Radio forum would be the place to ask that. I have Futaba and they don’t have that option.

Must have some parameters set wrong in advanced. Is there any way so RESET parameters to default?
I have T10 Futaba with 2 Ghz TX and RX
