G’Day,I have been lurking around the UAV scene for a while now – mainly in the quad rotor field. Now I am looking at getting into the opensource aircraft side (as a hobby). After reading here, and also on rc forums around the place, it seems the EasyStar is recommended for a good starting platform (and with luck they will start shipping them again sometime soon). If possible, could someone please have a look over this equipment list and see if it meets the specs required for a standard DIY UAV setup using ardupilot.LXKSY1 Multiplex LN-5014 Multi ChargerLXSGC8 Multiplex LiPo BX 4800mAh 3S1P-11.1V 20CLXRLM737 Futaba 7CAP 7-Channel PCM/4 S3151 Servos 37LXPVF5 Multiplex Power Pack MiniMag/Easy StarLXFRU7 Multiplex Easy Star Kit 54"All these parts have been pulled from towerhobbies. Of main interest is the radio and with inc Rx and servos suitable, and is the LiPo I have selected suitable for use with the upgraded powerpack from Multiplex? With this setup will there still be sufficient room in the Easy Star for all the Adrupilot kit while still maintaining a reasonable flight time (~30min or so – maybe more).Any help or advice is appreciated – Im keen to put in the back order so with luck I can get building the end of next month.Cheers,Jake

Cheers, thanks for that. I might look at splitting the order and getting stuff from there as well.
Just re-looking at the weight of the battery/s what’s the general opinion of running one bat for everything vs 2 independent bats (one for AV and one for the rest)? Can the airframe handle 400 to 500g of weight in batts alone (and have a reasonable place to store them)? – or should I be looking a bit smaller and take the hit in run time?
That's a huge battery---you'll fly for hours! We usually fly with 2200mahs
Just so you know, you could get as good or better equipment for a third the price if you went for something other than Multiplex for the battery and charger. Check out HobbyKing.com for a sense of what things *should* cost.
This charger, for example, is much better and cheaper.

Thanks again.
