Im planing to build Xuav Talon. Mainly for mapping and secondary for long fligts.

My plane needs to be bulletproof. Below is the wiring scheme. What You think about it.

  • You will probably have to power your servos from one of the BEC's and not the pixhawk rail.  The pixhawk might start rebooting if you attempt to power all of that off the servo rail.  This will especially be a danger if you are going to attempt to power additional servos through the Pixhawk providing power to the Rx and the Rx powering those other servos.  Your BEC may provide enough power for all of this but sometimes if there is a surge in power requirement from interference causing servos to jump or multiple servos drawing at once Pixhawk is very sensitive to voltage fluctuation on the rail.

All those BEC's and switches sure is a lot of unneeded weight and complexity.

Why are you going direct to the telemetry radio with the 5V and not powering it through the Pixhawk like normal?

Make sure you are tapping all of your power on the Pixhawk side of the power module do you can keep a more accurate account of your Mah consumption.
