I have a rotomotion autopilot kit on my shelf that I'd like to find a good home for. This was purchased back in August of '02. I had a buddy of mine who's a good hardware tech begin the assembly process. I think he installed the cpu on the main board, and that's as far as we got. I got side tracked with other things and never even attempted to power it on or boot it up. The initial work looks very clean and professional, so the kit is in excellent condition, but it's been sitting in the box ever since we completed the first steps of the assembly instructions.I believe source code and instructions are still available at http://autopilot.sf.net, and I think this is a rev2.2 kit (?)The kit includes 2 rotomotion bumper stickers, the main board with processor and some supporting bits already installed. There's a bunch of chips, resisters, capacitors, and various connectors. It also looks like there is some small lcd display still in the original bubble wrap.As I've probably mentioned before in other places. I'm more of a software guy, so a hardware kit like this doesn't do me much good sitting on my shelf, but perhaps there is some other hobbiest out there who would have a blast finishing the assembly and getting it up and flying? The box of parts will probably cost about $5-10 to ship. I can't say for certain that every piece in the original kit is still in the box for sure, and I can't guarantee any of this works, but everything looks like it is in excellent condition. If anyone is interested, please make me an offer over and above the cost of shipping, and if there is more than one person interested, I'll take the best offer.I have no idea if any of this kit has any export restrictions on it, and I don't want to spend time trying to figure all that out for certain, so I apologize to non-USA residents, but in order to avoid any potential problems, I'd like to ship this to someone in the USA.Thanks,Curt.

Aloha,
I am very interested. Please drop me an email at your earliest convenience. I can offer you a great price once i know
exactly what all is included. Can you give me an idea of what you paid for everything? I know that they were offering several kits around the time you purchased this kit. Some were 'do it yourself kits" some were full design kits.

Thank you in advance for your time. Please let me know also if this is even still available.
I'm definitely interested. I was just on the phone with Rotomotion today asking if these kits still exist. Shoot me a direct email at seokeefe@hotmail.com. I have no idea what a kit is worth...how about $100 + shipping.
If it has the sensors it could be quite valuable. The cost of a full IMU & compass has not decreased significantly in 7 years. The uBlox GPS also has not decreased in price. autopilot.sf.net doesn't have anything which flies itself.
