Rover won't follow waypoints.

I do have a problem.

When i setup a path in the mission planner the rover goes to the first waypoint and stops.

The GPS Signal looks fine in the missionplanner.

I don't really know where to find a solution for this problem, i hope anyone can help me.

  • Hi,

    I know this thread is pretty old, but this is the behavior I'm seeing with a drone I just put together.

    this is my first drone build and I had some "challenges" getting everything to play together, but it seems like everything is moving the right direction, the steering works, properly, and the drone is now traveling to a waypoint.  But, it only goes to the first waypoint and stops.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

    I have the following components:

    PX4

    APM3.0

    4 wheel drive differential steering drone (motor at each wheel)

    SaberTooth ESC in independent mode, skidsteer_out = 1

    I can drive it with the RC controller, all be it less responsive in the independent than the mixing mode.  Originally, I had a few control reversals in the control chain, but these seem to be worked out at this point.

    I have 4 waypoints loaded, drive to home, arm the drone.  It drives to the first waypoint and stops.  I drive the drone away form the waypoint manually and then switch to auto, it always goes back to the same waypoint.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Can you give more détails about your configuration and maybe the log files. With so little info it is hard to help you;

    How did you configure the auto mission commands ? Are you sure that thje rover did not go back simply to the home position making you think it went to the first waypoint ? (that would explain why it stops there at the home position)
