On my first power up for some reason RTL is messed up. I always check that this feature works befor I go off flying. But it gets home wrong the first time. If I then disconnect the battery and restart it gets it right.
Anyone have an idea as to why?Oh and it thinks home is off to the west somewhere!!!!??

I'm running 2.6. I haven't updated to the latest version as mine was working fine, apart from the RTL issue.
I always wait for.the blue gps light to light on the imu before flying. But it seems like ardupilot records the co ordinates before a lock is established. When I restart, the gps gets a lock in about 2 seconds (warm start). And RTL is correctly recorded.

"home" will be random until you've got GPS lock, of course.
