I have a question on the RTL process when triggered by low batt failsafe.

As with RTL when engaged manually, will it climb to a certain height before starting to decend when triggered by failsafe??

Reason I ask is because if I am flying indoors in my room and if the voltage failsafe triggers, if it climbs to a height before descending it will crash into the roof. I know I can change the failsafe to just Land. Is that the correct approach OR with RTL act differently and not climb when triggered by voltage lof failsafe.
