S1000+ power module

HiI have always had a power module between battery and power distribution. Is that a good idea on an S1000 or should the power module be connected to the PDB just for the pixhawk? I guess the ability to measure current is going to be the only issue but I don't think I use that measurement for anything.

  • The power module should go from the battery to the PDB board to power everything connected to it that requires 22v. The connector from the power module to the Pixhawk is 5v. That chip in the power module is what stops the 22v from frying your Pixhawk.
