Scherrer UHF paired with Spectrum DX6i

Hello all,I recently decided to upgrade to a UHF system. I purchased the TSLRS Tx700Pro to use in conjunction with my Spektrum DX6i. However, when I plug the Tx700Pro into the trainer port on DX6i using the proper adapter cable ( http://hobbywireless.com/scherrer-uhf-long-range-rc-c-98_100/jr-spektrum-style-trainer-adapter-for-tslrs-v7-tx-p-730.html), the led indicator simply flashes, indicating that a PPM stream is not found. In the manual (http://www.tslrs.com/manual/), it is stated in the instructions for binding " Power up the Tx, (we assume right plane memory is recalled on your RC unit)." What is the "right plane memory?" Is there a process that must be used to pair the Tx700Pro with a specific model in memory? What am I missing?Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!Walter

  • Just wanted to let everyone know that I figured out the issue. I discovered that the audio jack on the cable I purchased has three terminals where as the trainer port for spektrum radios required a 2 terminal connector. Consequently, I cut the connector off and plan to solder on a new, 2 terminal, right angle jack.
