I am working on a land restoration project, and we would like to distribute seeds from a drone.
I hope to find a way of calculating a rough distance from the Drone dropping point (projected into the ground) to the landing point. This can give us an idea of the expected distance from each seed.
I expect the calculation will depend on drone speed, wind speed, seed weight
Any idea if this is feasable? or if a simulation software is available?

What is wrong with using gps coordinates? if you got your base coordinate and the dropping point coordinate you can import both in something like google earth and should get a good idea of the distance
