Sensor Drift or GPS effect

I have an APM2.5 which has blown one of the fuses/diodes between the power unit plug and the +ve 5 volt rail. I am able to power the unit through the USB port or the A0-13 pins. and seems to function fine.

During indoor tests on the unit after a small period of time the artificial horizon begins to drift/oscillate.. When I remove the gps however it stops and returns to the steady state level. The altitude is also a silly value. Is this a function of the GPS trying to find a lock while indoor or do i have a bigger problem.

  • My altitude seems to be broken as I cant make it change value even by raising or lowering the unit... any ideas?
