Sensor point of interest

Found a couple of posts referencing camera tracking a vehicle with "blob" processes, but what about anchoring a camera on a random point on the ground -- an intersection, a tree, a building, has anyone had any success with locking your sensor point of interest and directing my airframe to hold an orbit around the point of interest?

  • With GPS it's just a matter of simple trigonometry (and fine-tuning one's servos).
