Hi guys,
I'm interested in utilizing the Serial output NMEA functionality in Mission planner to receive and log raw GPS data. I want to use this approach because we're using RTK GPS, and I want to log additional accuracy estimation data, which is not logged in the existing telemetry or flash logs. So I'm referring to this functionality:
(I then forward the data to a virtual COM port, which I connect to on the other end with a custom application to create the logs)
By enabling this I currently receive GPGGA string (and 2 or 3 others), but do not receive GPGST strings, which contains the position standard deviation data. Our RTK GPS produces the strings, and I want it to be echoed through this functionality...
What is my options here, or whom does active development on Mission planner or on the Pixhawk firmware side? Because RTK GPSs are becoming more-and-more used, and I actually feel it's quite important to log GPS accuracy data (position standard deviation etc.) together with position data. (This accuracy data for instance also becomes important in your geo-tagging process, and utilized for instance for photogrammetry software)
