I am working on a build using a HK retractable landing gear that is rubbish. It is giving me headaches from day one actually. It rattles and is flimsy. Therefore i would like to set the landing speed to 15cm/s. If i try this i get the message that this is below the 30cm/s minimum range. Is there a negative consequence or risk in trying to lower the value anyway? And more importantly, will this work in reducing the speed? ;)

I think you risk getting a false positive that you have landed. In other words, motors shut down and aircraft falls to ground.
