I have constructed a 450 bumblebee quad and am now flying it with the APM2.5. It flies great, but I am only getting about 3 min flight times. The motors are 2832 1200kv with 10 x 4.5 props and 20A esc's. I am using a 3s 2200mah 25c battery. The quad weights about 32 oz with battery on board. I have used the calculator program suggested in some of these discussions and the 3 minutes seems to be what the flight time should be at full power. The motors pull 1.4 amps no load and 23 amps max. I am flying very conservatively and at low power, just hovering and moving around a little. Am I wrong to expect somewhat longer flight times. The calculator indicates 7 min hovering. Thanks

Cancel the discussion, I have found that you have to be smarter than your charger!! I had it set to charge a max of 850ma and of course the batteries are 2200ma so they were never being charged to more than about 40%.
