I seem to have limited throttle control in the above modes when flying APM 1.02APM is definately controlling the throttle but I seem to set the limit it works to with the throttle stick.I know you can nudge the plane but can you nudge thethrottle to?Thanks

I didnt think this worked for throttle. Im pretty sure it didnt in Ardupilot anyway.
What confuses me about it is in auto APM is supposedly controlling altitude by throttle, but Moving the throttle stick changes the behaviour, so where is the throttle stick supposed to be for "neutral"?
I would expect to have zero control over throttle in RTL and AUTO but I do!
I have min/max/cruise set, and these work, but slamming the throttle in AUTO or RTL definately gives a burst of throttle on the plane which I wouldn't expect?
I have not been able to change the power settings in auto either, I think that it's "just the way it is" and I could see why you would not want to if it was ever to stray out of LOS, a nudge on the power stick which stays at the last point would not be to good! It will recover from a nudge on the control sufaces when the stick moves back to the centre, I have always just set max and min in the config.h file on the APM, have you set these limits? I've never had any issues :)

Thanks again.
Thanks for your reply, maybe above wasn't clear.
