SimonK firmware for the old 3DRobotics ESC.

   I have some of the old ESC's shipped by 3dRobotics. It does not have the SimonK firmware. I was wondering if I can flash it with the SiminK firmware. If yes then what setting do we use to build the firmware. By “setting”, I mean what is this type of ESC. ( Eg. bs40a_esc, thanksdlu40a_esc, bs_nfet_esc, etc.).

    Hello! It looks a lot to me like an RCTimer ESC, which is an ATmega8-based Hobbywing clone, likely compatible with the original tgy.hex. I'm guessing by the heat shrink, wire, and sticker being very close to http://0x.ca/sim/esc/RCTimer_CBS002/

    Perhaps worth a look inside to see if your's look the same as the ones mentioned in this thread.

      Johann, it looks like the link you gave self-refers to the thread we are in now!  Could you have a look, and perhaps put in the correct link?
