I am helping program a Quadcopter with a few friends. We decided to reinvent the wheel and write our own autopilot. It doesn't use the Ardupilot format for flight plans, so I decided I should extend Mission Planner to use our waypoint format.
Well as it turned out, it was simpler to write a JavaScript application using Cesium's GIS library. I have added it to GitHub, and I thought I should mention it here in case it could be of use to anyone.
It's is simple tool, but it allows plotting 3D points, could be web-based or local, and is easy to modify.
