Anybody tried a SLAM Algorithm on the Arduino IDE and tried it on the ArduCopter??

  • I've played around with SLAM and MONOSLAM a bit on low end machines and you could run some workable versions on something like an ATOM processor.
    All SLAM versions I've seen is on mainstream PC (C or .NET) structures so it would mean finding a soul out there who has approached this from the ground up.

    Anything you do will be with serial cameras and very low resolution. You might even be able to palm off some of the image prep steps to hardware but .... hell no, dont wast your time unless you are willing to put a mini PC in your plane.
