Purchased Polar Pro's LED light bar and it didn't work. Dan at Polar Pro promptly sent me another set free of charge. They also didn't work. Thinking that something else must be wrong I opened Solo and found this:
Soldering on the accessory bay looks really rugged on the first 3-4 pins. I wrote to 3DR tech support and they emailed back and said it looked normal but to check for a short. I did and it is shorted between pin 3 and 13. I called tech support back and explained it and they told me to try to re-solder it.
Are you kidding me??? After I complained he said they would review the case and get back with me. Wow, what kind of support is that?
This is the same Solo that couldn't fly on day 1 since the GPS didn't work (see earlier post) - fortunately it was just the plug and I was able to fix it with tech supports help but this is too much!
Anyone else tested their accessory bay?
