Sonar Altitude Problem

Hello...

Im using the MB1200 XL-MaxSonar-EZ0 setup on the APM 1 & have shielded it as mentioned in the wiki setup guide ... When I put a Sonar Test in the CLI it shows me accurate readings from the floor at a distance range from 35 to 40 cm....But when i look for the altitude into the Flight Data it shows me incorrect readings and the altitude goes into minus readings upto - 50 m....:-(

Are the -50 readings while it is in flight above 10 m?
