Greetings all,
I wrote an earlier post regarding Sony FX 100 iii gimbal support and was immediately helped. It was brought to my attention (I'm a new guy) that any FPV kit that 3DR sells for either the Iris + or the X-8 + only spec for a GoPro. Now that I understand gimbals, I was hoping to get an X-8 + for my Sony RX 100 iii. I understand that I need to get a Hobbypower Gimbal but was under the impression that the FPV kit would work with my Sony RX100 iii. I called 3Dr support and was told that I am wrong. I guess I need to get some kind of FPV kit elsewhere. I don't know that first thing about how to hook this up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You need to check what video output is available on it, in my quick google it looks like it has hdmi, if so you may possibly be able to use a suitable hdmi to a/v converter. Check the connector type.
This can then be fed into to a analogue video transmitter. Avoid using 2.4Ghz video tx if you are using 2.4 for you radio gear.
