  • Very nice! I've also got a few pics of the CSIR's uavs if anybody wants them. Might have posted some on the site already.

    I just have one piece of criticism on the uav development front as also stated by one of the posts in the links provided. I have been involved with two universities UP and NWU and am sorry to say that no uav work is being done at either. I find this a real shame as the future of uav development lies in the new engineers being schooled. As a student I just decided that I would start my own research and projects at NWU but on a students budget. Thus the only option was the ardupilot, which I do find limiting(soon to change with a new mega). Anyway, if anybody like denel dynamics or ATE personel do read these forums, please think about helpng research projects at NWU. I recently found the major problem in final year project...a lousy R2500 budget that it needs to be done with. Enough of my ranting...
