Hi,
I am looking for a way to connect an arduino to the trainer port of the DX6i and send ppm commands to my drone. I have found a few people reading the ppm signal from the trainer port to use the DX6i in flight simulators but I want to go the other way. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be good. I did find one post with some instructions and some same code but it just doesn't seem to work. (Link Below)

@Chris,
I have Ian's gamer USB joystick project (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1704110) working with a Spektrum DM8 FUT module. I had to invert Ian's PPM output to be positive going instead of negative going and I drove the DM8 PPM input with PNP transistor (non-inverting) since the input is designed for an open collector input. I do know that my PCTx USB to trainer port adapter would not work with my DX6i, but worked with my DX7.
Just a thought.
