State of IMU development?

Hi all,

 

the ArduIMU+ V2 is sold out at the DIYdrones shop.

The ArduIMU+ V2 has been discontinued without replacement at Sparkfun.

The Ultimate IMU has been discontinued at Sparkfun.
I think there was a replacement product announced that has been pulled then?

 

I wonder whats going on?
Someone to enlighten me?

    Everyone uses Ardupilot Mega and the Oilpan IMU on top of it.
    The old Ardupilots aren't really being actively continued.
