What could cause not being able to change modes while flying but on the ground it works fine?I have solid blue on gps and solid red on imu. If I change modes on te ground it works fine. Take off and I'm stuck in stable mode.I had the problem with .50 and now upgraded to .54 ad the problem is still there. What could cause that and where can I look for the cause?

Problem solved! I must have accidentally set the FLAP SYS. In there I had it ACT (active) and 50% throttle so the flaps would get enabled at 50% throttle or less. Not good for my mode change needs :)
That meant if I ever enabled modes below 50% throttle which I didn't ever do because I need a little more than 50% to hover, but if I did then the mode change would have happened but as soon as I went above 50 it would have jumped back to stabile mode. Now it's working so I go do an air test :)

Maybe you have a bad solder that vibrate in the air, eg magnetometer (compass)
