Hey guys, first post here.
I was wondering about the availability of specialized hardware for open submersible drone development. I mean hydrostatic pressure resistant materials, hulls, enclosures/encasements, propulsion systems etc.
Most of what I see is custom, a complete build, or a very narrow selection of kit[s]. This is in contrast to aerial drones where there seems to be countless sources.
These guys http://www.openrov.com/ have something going, but "open" in this case would really only mean the code.
Is 3DR working on anything like this?
Thanks

My background is building ROVs and I wish we were doing a ArduROV but at the moment the focus is on Planes and Multi-rotors and Rovers and boats.
