Hey guys i'm a newb in this field & i need ur help in making my final yr engg project.Actually i want to make a UAV based on ardupilot .As i'm making this project alone so i'm low on budget.I wanna know wether earlier version of Ardupilot (tht green board) alongwith only FMA XY sensor can be used for building a stable UAV or not? Also, are those versions of Ardupilot are still available?Help me..........

Honestly, and I say this as an engineering student myself, if you are a noob in this field why would you choose to base your final year project on it?
There is a lot of information on this site. If you are serious about building an Ardupilot based UAV I would recommend spending at lease a day trawling through this website looking for all of the question you have. The chances are they have been answered before.

The green board is no longer available (it was the same price as the current borad). But the red board can use the ArduPilot 1.0 code, which you can use with the FMA CoPilot to create a functioning UAV.
