Ok. Power from the ESC goes into the APM on the output side.
Power to the receiver comes from the last RC input.
So.. ESC to APM to RC correct?
(Tickets to the next launch are burning a hole in my pocket)

What's the "APU"?
The battery goes to the power distribution board, and one of the ESC's BEC provides power for the APM board.
