Just looking for a bit of confirmation - every take off is fraught with problems, with wild pitching one way or the other (it's mostly to the left, it should be noted). I often need to put in a bit of stick to get it in the air.
However, once it's there...no problem, Stable and smooth as anything. As can be seen from the pic; a start up, a slow spool to almost-hover, until I punch lightly it up into the air, and then it all smooths out.
Is this a motor problem brewing? Or does the gradient affect start up motor speeds (it's only a slight gradient)?
Logs attached, just in case.
In a possibly related problem, I'm seeing a slight side-to-side yawing action in all flight modes. Will upload video of it shortly.

Hello Euan,
I am not an expert about this but from my experiences the I value of the PID settings may be the configuration you should play with. My hexa was taking off badly and flying smoothly as yours. After changing the I value, now my hexa taking off very well. I hope it will help you
